Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company Joins Hands to Support Northern People Affected by Storm No. 3

On the morning of September 13, 2024, at the Launching Ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province called for the cooperation of businesses, organizations and individuals in the province. Storm No. 3 has caused serious damage in the northern provinces, with statistics as of September 13 showing that 336 people have died and gone missing, 823 people have been injured, nearly 50,000 houses have collapsed or been damaged, and hundreds of thousands of hectares of rice and crops have been flooded and destroyed. The total property damage is estimated at tens of thousands of billions of VND.

Participating in the launching ceremony, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company, in the spirit of mutual love, decided to contribute 1 billion VND to support the people of the North to overcome the consequences of storms and floods. Mr. Nguyen Nhat Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of the Company, said: “We are fully aware of the terrible devastation caused by storm No. 3 and the difficulties that the people of the North are facing. With a sense of responsibility and sharing, we hope that this support will help the affected families and communities overcome the difficult period and soon stabilize their lives.”

Also at the Ceremony, more than 60 representatives of businesses located in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province participated in supporting with a total amount of more than 22 billion VND.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province announced that the time to receive contributions and support will last from September 10, 2024 to October 10, 2024.
